We are super excited about this quite unusual coffee from Colombia which will leave a long lasting impression. It really shows the extremely high standards of processing and overall attention of the producer to provide a really excellent coffee. It's also a micro-lot, so don't hesitate to try it now - it will run out fast!
In the cup, you can expect a fruity, floral explosion of flavour. We get intense notes of florals along with bright but gentle acidity, like you get from lychees. Imagine truffles made from craft chocolate and with a dusting of cocoa and you're almost there.
This is extremely clean and well-balanced coffee with a silky smooth finish. You are in for a treat!

Notes from the importer...
'We started working with Diofanor 5 years ago now. He spent a number of years developing his farm into a biodiverse, self sustaining farm in which everything feeds off the mini ecosystem. When we first met Diofanor he was producing really good coffees but everything was being sold on the commercial market. We could see how meticulous he was with the way his coffees were processed and he was one of the first growers to join our processing internship program. Since then, he has developed his own processing techniques and is really one of the best producers we work with.
In 2019 Cofinet bought a new farm called Jardine del Eden (Eden Gardens). Our plan was to grow only very high end and exotic varieties. We initially approached Diofanor to work with us and manage the farm. He politely declined as he felt he was too committed with his own farm but instead his son Christian came on board and still manages Jardine del Eden to this day. We remain close with Diofanor and believe he is an exemplary grower in showing the value of specialty coffee.'Remember! - Shipping by DPD is FREE on orders which contain more than 1kg of coffee.
