YOU'RE SEEING THIS BECAUSE YOU CLICKED ON A SECRET LINK. THIS COFFEE IS ONLY AVAILABLE AT THIS PRICE UNTIL 28TH JULY, WHEN IT WILL INCREASE BY AT LEAST 10%
We're excited to offer you more exotic beans from innovative grower, Don Luis Anibal Calderon. Although, the coffee is from the same producer, and even the same varietal as the last lot, a different processing approach gives it a completely different flavour profile!
In the cup, you can expect a delicate aroma of spice, which reminds us of cinnamon and cloves. Smooth, yet complex, subtle tropical fruit flavours are complemented beautifully by incredible sweetness, which reminds us of cinder toffee.
This fabulous coffee has a velvety mouthfeel, big body and a very smooth finish which will leave you wanting more. Well balanced and clean coffee.
In espresso, this coffee is like honeycomb. It loses most of the acidity evident in the filter brews, so is well suited for drinks with added milk too. A great coffee for traditionalists looking to dive into adventure territory: not too funky, but full of interesting and complex flavours!

Want to know more about this coffee? Read on......
This coffee is produced by one of our star producers, Don Luis Anibal Calderon at Finca Villa Betulia. This coffee was carefully hand-picked in order to use only the ripest cherries. The cherries are exposed to a dry anaerobic fermentation of 48 hours inside grainpro bags before pulping, and a further 18 hours after pulping, inside ceramic tanks. The coffee is then gently washed before being sundried on raised beds to 10.5% moisture content.
Luis Anibal has been growing coffee for over 20 years but only sold his first specialty lot in 2013. He was one of the first growers in Colombia to produce Gesha, planting 5,000 Gesha trees in 2012 when very few knew about this variety in Colombia. These days he grows 26 different varieties including Pink Bourbon. Wush Wush. Tabi, Striped Bourbon, Maragogype, Java, Yellow Bourbon, Laurinha, Typica, Papayo and more.
This microlot is 100% Pink Bourbon. This variety is currently under research in order to determine its origin. It is said that it is a mutation that took place at 2,100m in San Adolfo, Huila.
