Another year, another carbon footprint audit!
For those of you that don’t know, this is work that we started with the help of Sheffield University, back in 2021. Over a number of months, we developed a methodology and a framework for measuring our carbon footprint, and every year since then, we have offset our emissions by contributing towards ‘Gold Standard’ projects which reduce carbon emissions as well as having a positive social impact in the local communities where the projects are running.
This time around, we’re happy to be renewing our support of a renewable (wind) energy project in Rajasthan, India. As well as producing clean energy, the project is also providing a whole load of benefits in the local area - bicycles for schoolgirls, healthcare, sanitation facilities amongst other initiatives.
