A couple of months ago, we had a think about our filter coffee offerings and started to play around with new ideas. In the end, we settled on the Hario Switch. It's a great brew method. For those of you that don't know, it's a 'hybrid' brewer, part drip, part immersion and we're finding that it's a good way too get the best of both worlds.
The drip element helps ensure we get a high extraction from the first part of the brew, really pushing acidity, and then the immersion gives us that great mouthfeel and balance. If you're thinking about trying this method out yourself, we've added our current approach to the website here.
