The Clever Dripper is one of our favourite ways to brew coffee. The coffee tastes richer somehow, and the mouthfeel is usually more silky too.
The downside with pure immersion methods is the slightly 'dirty' cup. Inevitably, some of the finer particles end up in your mug when you're using something like a cafetière or an Aeropress. The Clever Dripper solves this issue by passing your coffee through a filter paper at the end of the brewing process.
This isn't a sales pitch. In fact, we don't sell these - but we do recommend them, and we have a brew guide too (spoiler alert: water first, then coffee for a much more consistent draw down time). You can find that here.
