'Simple is good. This coffee is great value, easy to drink and easy to brew. Our first coffee from Brazil!'
I'm not sure how we got eleven years into running a coffee roasting business without ever stocking a coffee from Brazil, the largest coffee producing country in the world! Truth be told, we've generally found coffee from Brazil to be a little underwhelming in the past.
This one though, we liked. It's simple coffee, in a good way, and it's great value too. In the cup, you can expect to find some pleasant white wine notes and a hint of grapefruit on the finish. We really enjoyed the espresso - add milk and it has this lovely hazelnut, slightly malty thing going on, which makes for a smooth, easy drinking cappuccino.

Taste and flavour perception are complex and difficult to articulate. We love sharing our tasting notes with you, but please don't rely too heavily on our reports. Your experience is what matters most and it may be different. We've written about that whole issue here.

The Paraíso varietal is a coffee cultivar known for its unique characteristics and distinct flavour profile. Typically grown at high altitudes in regions like Minas Gerais and São Paulo, Paraíso is prized for its cup quality, which often features a well-balanced acidity,
medium body, and notes of fruitiness and sweetness. The cultivar's versatility and adaptability make it a popular choice among Brazilian coffee producers. It's important to note that the Paraíso varietal has been developed through selective breeding, and its
cultivation contributes to the diverse and rich coffee offerings from Brazil.
A delicious rich flavoured coffee for my mid morning Flat White
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, really appreciate it. This was our first Brazilian coffee, won't be the last! 😊
A new family favourite - enjoyed both as cappuccino and expresso
That's great to hear Nicola. Really appreciate you letting us know 😊
Would love to see this as a regular! Classic Brazilian notes - hazelnut, malt and chocolate. Even someone commented saying ‘are you drinking hot chocolate?’ Really nice and comforting brew.
Thanks Ed, nice to see the Brazillian getting some love! I agree, sometimes simple is good! Fingers crossed that the next crop is as good as this one. ☝️
I love your coffee!
