“An absolute banger of a Gesha this one. Delicate, complex and refreshing. Oh yes.”
Gesha is a much loved varietal and arguably the coffee that’s most unlike coffee. Subtle, complex, fragrant and delicate is the name of the game here.
This particular example is truly delicious. You’ll find wistful, floral jasmine taking centre stage along with a bergamot note that obviously brings to mind earl grey tea. We’re loving the gentle lemon acidity and the subtle biscuity flavours too.
Surprisingly, this coffee also works well in espresso, although we’d advise against adding milk which instantly overwhelms the delicate balance of flavours. Classy coffee for sure. Sip slowly and be happy.
