In the cup, the acidity reminds us of red apples, crisp but gentle. There’s also some orange in there, some sticky date sweetness, a little hazelnut and a smooth chocolate finish.
Switch to espresso however, and you’ll find a whole new character revealed, especially when you add milk. Nougat comes to mind, subtle roasted macadamia and a lovley comforting maltiness. In a word? Maltesers.
