OUR NEXT ROASTING/SHIPPING DAY IS MONDAY 24th FEBRUARY.
'I'm really excited to bring you this coffee, the first from a brand new relationship...."
When Costa Rica's 2023 cup tasting champion came to see us at the roastery a few months ago, he told us that he was importing his family's coffee into the UK and looking for roasting partners. To say we were intrigued was an understatement - and boy did he deliver! We instantly fell in love with this coffee.
This is complex coffee. In filter, you're going to find bright, zingy, but clean, kiwi like acidity and a load of tropical fruit notes along with a hint of dark chocolate. In espresso, the zing remains, but in a really enjoyable way. Add milk, and your brew will take on a butterscotch, creamy, rich vibe that makes for seriously moreish flat whites.
However you like to brew, you're going to love this one.
Origin: West Valley, Costa Rica.

Taste and flavour perception are complex and difficult to articulate. We love sharing our tasting notes with you, but please don't rely too heavily on our reports. Your experience is what matters most and it may be different. We've written about that whole issue here.
