'We bought this coffee last year and when we tasted it again this year it was a no-brainer. Even better than before!!'

When it comes to fresh crop coffee, there are few that delight in quite the same way as a top drawer offering from Guatemala.

First, I need to tell you about how this coffee performs in espresso. I mean, wow. We are talking about serious booziness, sweet apricot notes and bags of sticky syrupy mouthfeel. It's just a complete delight and it even remains nicely balanced with the addition of milk.

As filter coffee, the floral notes really come to the forefront. We're reminded of orange blossom and honey and there's a fantastic tang of grapefruit in the finish that keeps all that sweetness in check. In short, phenomenal coffee - however you like to brew.

Antonio and his wife, Eby Aracely Samayoa, have worked hard to fine-tune their processing practices in order to have the best possible product. Their
dedication has helped take their coffee quality to the next level, and the results are in the cup!

In the future Antonio is interested in developing his agronomic practices. Antonio also wants to provide support to other producers in the region who can’t afford costly farm inputs. He wants to make the supplies accessible and more affordable for
producers.

In their own words:

“Together we take care of the environment in order to avoid any contaminations. Producing honeys and naturals is a very important way for us to improve our income and the wages for those who work for us. Production of these special coffees also allows us to know our product better. We really want to support our children so they are able to study in a university”

Lovely

I really enjoyed this coffee. It was best in an areo press/stove top for the full taste.
I really appreciate all the information Foundry Coffee give about how the beans are grown and processed.

Thanks for leaving a review Angela! - funnily enough, this is the coffee that we are currently using on our brew bar for the Aeropress option and the team here are all big fans too.
