Simple, tasty coffee.
Water: 98 Celsius degrees
Comandante C40: 26 clicks medium-coarse grind.
Method:
- Our recommendation is 73g of coffee per 1L of water.
- Prepare the right amount of coffee and grind it.
- After your water has boiled, wait about a minute for it to cool down. Place your cafetière on the scale, tare it to zero, and add ground coffee, zero it again.
- Set the timer and add your water as quickly as possible and leave it to steep for about 2 minutes.
- During this time you will notice that coffee formed a crust like layer on the top. At 2 minutes break the crust and stir your coffee with a tablespoon for about 10 seconds. This action will cause most of the coffee to fall to the bottom of the pot.
- With the help of a tablespoon, clean the remaining foam from the top and discard it.
- At 3 minutes place the plunger in the top of the brewing vessel and plunge it. Wait another 2 minutes, this will allow coffee to settle down to the bottom, so you can enjoy a nice, well textured brew.
